Dipika Wins WISPA Indian challenger #5 in Kolkata

Dipika Pallikal wins her maiden WISPA title in Kolkata after defeating higher ranked opponents in the semi finals and finals, while Mohd. Shorbagy also win’s his first title in a 5 star event. These WISPA & PSA event was supported by the ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The tournament was held at the The Calcutta Racket Club.

Junior Nationals individual and interstate, Kolkata 2006

Calcutta Racket Club, one of the oldest squash clubs in the world, will host the Indian Junior National and Interstate Squash Championship from 25 October to 1 November. We have received entries from 350 participants across the country, competing in various age groups from under 11 to under 19. The individual tournament will be till October 28, and the interstate team championship will commence from Oct 29 till November 1.

This is a tournament I look forward to, as it is interesting to see the depth and quality of our junior squash.
