TN teenagers Vaidehi and Joshna enter womens national final

Reah, Vaidehi, me, Joshna, Rachita and GajendraArticle on one of the first programs we had to develop talent in the country. At this camp in Madras we coached Vaidehi Reddy and Joshna Chinappa from Madras, Sahil Vora, Rhea Bhandare and Richita Vora from Bombay, Abhimanyu Jain, Gaurav Nandrajog and Varun Kataruka from Delhi.

Vaidehi and Joshna enter final…Joshna had lost to Mekhala in early November in the Maharashtra Open. Since then much has happened. She, as also Vaidehi and nine others, including six boys, have been attending the coaching camp under coaches Cyrus Poncha and Gajendra Singh in preparation for the February Asian junior championship to be hosted here. “I am certainly thankful to Squash Racquets Federation of India for arranging the camp. I certainly feel I have improved a lot”, Joshna was to say after what was one of her best wins in her career.
