India thru to semis

The Indian junior squash team trounced Iran 3-0 in their final pool match here in Hong Kong at the Asian Junior Squash Championships. The Indian boys placed in pool C along with Korea and Iran won both their ties 3-0 to top their pool and set up their semi final clash against second seeded in the event and world no. 3 Malaysia.

The results

Sandeep Jangra bt Navid Sabet 9-3, 9-0, 9-2; Harnderpal Singh bt Mohd. Hossein Nadoushan 9-5, 9-7, 9-5; Parth Sharma bt  Mohd. Reza Sadeghpour 9-6, 9-1, 9-7

All the boys have worked very hard and we are ready to upset the fancied Malaysian’s in our semi final tomorrow evening.
