Top seed Ritwik won albeit a little resistance from Mohd Sayed, while 2nd seed Reda won comfortably.

Harinderpal once again clawed his way back from a 1-2 deficit to clinch a semi final berth against 2nd seeded Egyptian, Mohd. Reda. Winning the first in a tie breaker the second could not have been any closer. The 40 minute game saw both players fighting for every inch on court with both evenly serving for the game, Naresh eventually winning 27-25.

Omar Tarek showed his repertoire of short kills en route to upset 3rd ranked Dick Lau from Hong Kong in a 4 game encounter.
