Ritwik Wins In KL

India’s Ritwik Bhattacharya emerged triumphant in the NSC Super Satellite No3 squash event at the Jalan Duta NSC Squash Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Top seed Bhattacharya reached the men’s final as expected – though dropped games in each round en-route to his tenth PSA Tour climax.  But his unexpected opponent was Bilal Zaman, the fourth-seeded Pakistani who upset Australia’s No2 seed Mike Corren in the previous round to claim his second Tour final appearance.
The 28-year-old from New Delhi was too strong for Zaman, however, as Bhattacharya recovered from 1/2 down to win 11-6, 9-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-9 in 45 minute to collect his seventh PSA crown.

Ritwik will head shortly to Chennai to represent India at the World Men’s team Championship.
