Tamil Nadu Dominates Interstate Championship

5th to 8th November, Chennai

Tamil Nadu clinched three of the four titles on offer in the inter-State squash championship.Tamil Nadu upset Maharashtra to lift the Boys U-19 title and then put it across New Delhi in the Girls U-15 and U-19 finals. In a thrilling Boys U-19 decider, Tamil Nadu’s Karan Malik rallied from a two-game deficit to outlast Laxman Joshi in five games. Karan hung on in the face of some lusty hitting by Laxman to clinch the decider 11-6.
