CIMB Malaysian Open 19-24 July 2010

Dipika Pallikal and Siddharth Suchde won their qualifying round matches to enter the main draw of the CIMB Malaysian Open at Kuala Lumpur.

Pallikal defeated Malaysia’s Siti Munirah Jusoh 9-11, 11-6, 11-6, 11-6 in 39 minutes, while Suchde had a hard fought victory over Gilly Lane of USA 11-7, 11-9, 6-11, 11-8 in 77 minutes.
In their 1st round matches Pallikal lost in 5 games to higher ranked Laura Massaro from England while Suchde lost in straight games to top seed Egyptian Mohammed El Shorbagy.
