Bengal Junior (12-15 Jul’14)

Top seeds won majority of titles at the Bengal Junior a 2 star SRFI event held at the Calcutta Racket Club.

However, there were a few notable upsets.
Chennai lass, Pooja Arthi defeated top seeded Sarah Vethekar in a cliff hanger in the girls u11 event. Unseeded Simran Nagpal toppled top seeded Nandika Kumar in straight games while local champion although unseeded derated Harshit Muchhal to lift his maiden u19 crown in a SRFI ranking event.
