World Women’s Team, Niagara-on-the-lake, Canada, (1-6 Dec’14)

India finished 14th in the WWT championship. the team was lead by Joshana Chinappa along with Anaka Alankamony, Sachika Ingale & Harshit Kaur. Seeded in 13-16 bracket, India looked a weaker side without its top ranking player Dipika Pallikal. Placed in the Group comprising Hong Kong, South Africa, Austria and France, India could achieve only one win against Austria. Drawn into the 9-16 placings matches, India lost to Canada and slipped to 13-16 competition. A win over Colombia and a loss to Mexico meant India finished 14th overall.
