Indian Junior Open, Jodhpur (26-30 Sept’15)

There were upsets galore at the Indian Junior Open held at Jodhpur. Being an Asian ranking event & SRFI 4-star squash event it witnessed over 350 players from 8 countries. In the end, Malaysia won 2 titles, Singapore and Sri Lanka share one a piece with India winning the remaining 6. IJO'15 Winners

Abhay Singh of TN won his 3rd consecutive event of the month upstaging Ranjit Singh of Delhi in the U-19 boys’ final. Mihiliya Methsarani of Sri Lanka beat the top Indian but second seed Harshit Kaur Jawanda of Delhi in a lop sided affair. The Lankan girl had won the bronze medal in the recent Commonwealth Youth Games.
Paarth Ambani (boys under 11), Yash Fadte (boys under 15), Vikas Mehra (boys under 17) and Aira Azman (girls under 13) all defeated higher ranked opponents to win their respective categories.
