PSA Rankings – October 2015 (Kush Surges)

October has opened with some encouraging news for Indian squash with four Indian men featuring in the top 100 in the latest world rankings with Kush Kumar making the biggest jump of 24 rungs from 115 to 91. 
Incidentally in the month of August this Indian Squash Academy trainee was down at 152. The phenomenal improvement has come after his recent tour to Australia where he won his first PSA title in Tasmania, reached the semi-final in another and came to quarterfinals in two others along with his exploits at the JSW Indian Circuit.

Senior professional Saurav Ghosal recent from his victory in the Kolkata JSW circuit dropped a rank to be at 16 while Mahesh Mangaonkar improved to 51 and Harinderpal Sandhu was at 57.
In the women’s section, Dipika Pallikal led the field though she dropped two rungs to 19. A step behind is Joshna Chinappa who jumped four rungs to 20. Sachika Ingale improved a spot from 90 to 89. The rest are slowly pushing up.
