Men’s World Open, USA (13-22 Nov’15)

In the US  at the Bellevue, Washington where the  World Men’s individual championship is on, the focus was on another champion Saurav Ghosal, particularly because he was the only Indian to get past the first round. Saurav’s with a notable first round win over Australian Ryan Cuskelly 7-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-3.  Then James Willstrop stopped his ‘good friend & former training partner’ in straight games 11-7, 11-7, 11-7. 

Harinderpal Sandhu who came through two rounds of qualifiers, failed (losing to Swiss player Nicholas Mueller 11-5, 1-11, 11-4, 11-9) in the main draw while Mahesh Mangaonkar did not cross the qualifying phase losing in the final round to Andrew Wagih (Egypt) 11-6, 11-5, 11-8.
