Singapore Junior (16-20 Dec’15) 

Abhay - SingaporeTop seeded Abhay Singh lived up to his seeding to win the Boys U-19 title beating second seeded  Alwin Chai of Malaysia 11-8, 11-3, 11-8 in the final. Inclusive of this win, India’s number one ranked junior has now a tally of seven junior titles this year of which two of them are international victories.

In this Singapore event, this ISA trainee defeated Vivek Palaniappan of Singapore 11-2, 11-2, 11-1 in the first round, followed it up with a fighting win over 5/8 seed Yusuke Ogata of Japan,  13-15, 11-3, 11-8, 10-12, 11-6.  In the semi-final the Indian edged out  Kojiro Tan of Singapore  7-11, 11-5, 11-7, 11-7 for a place in the title round.
